CHAPTER 18

As soon as they pulled up to the front gate of Victoria’s house that was sitting wide open, they knew something was wrong.

“Pull over there,” G instructed Sky as she pulled the jeep to the far side of the guard booth.

Before G got out, he tucked his gun in his waist. As he walked over to the guard’s booth, it didn’t take him long to pick up on the horrid smell of death in the air.

“He’s dead,” Sky said as she stood next to G who had his eyes fixated on Otis, who was laid out awkwardly and lifeless in the booth.

“Yeah, that fuckin’ Borkovitz,” G said with disgust in his tone.

“It’s good we ain’t got to worry about his ass no more,” Sky said, proud of her accomplishments.

“Come on,” he told her as they walked passed the booth and headed for the garage.

“Shit!” Sky screamed as she stepped in the bright crimson puddle of blood on the garage floor.

“That’s Westley, they killed him to,” G said looking over at Westley sprawled out on the floor.

“Westley?”

“Her chauffeur?”

They stepped around Westley’s discolored body and entered the house. They went from room to room downstairs and after not finding anything they headed upstairs. The first room they entered was Victoria’s and the gruesome sight and smell before them made Sky throw up. G just shook his head and turned around, exiting the room. He pulled out his cell on his way back down the house steps.

“Hey, what’s going on?” Victoria asked, still lounging around.

“Everybody’s dead…the whole house,” G said in a serious tone.

Victoria was lost for words, all of the killing of her people was taking its toll on her.

“Torch it. Get the keys to the black Phantom and get it out of there. I’m not worried about the rest. I’ll call detective Links and make sure he handles the investigation. That li’l muthafucker Borkovitz!” Victoria screamed into the phone.

“I feel you. but it’s over with now,” G said reassuringly.

“I’ll be back tomorrow. Are you ready for the next shipment?”

“Yes and no but by the time they hit and let me know it’s moving. I’ll be right on it,” G explained.

“Ok what about the diamonds?”

“Umm that’s another problem, Mink is missing with the diamonds. Sky said she left this morning and didn’t come back. I even tried reaching her but got no answer or response.”

“Fuck! G I told you about…it don’t matter just…just …I’ll be in tomorrow. I’ll talk to you later,” Victoria said, ending the call.

“Find something to burn this place down,” G said as he got behind the wheel of the black Phantom and pulled it out into the street. Twenty minutes later Sky was following him out of the neighborhood as the fire crept through the bottom floor of the mansion, working its way up. G picked up his cell and called Sky who had made a left going into the opposite direction.

“Be on standby because the shipment could be leaving anytime,” G told her as they both headed to their respective residences.
